My name is Andre, I was born in DC, and it's something I cant wait to tell everybody. I love my city and I unabashedly love only DC teams (yes, including the Washington Football team.) I'm quite the homer. If it's DC, I'll probably support it. Growing up I just knew I was going to be the 2nd coming of Michael Jordan. I didn't quite make it to 6 feet tall so that didn't happen. Then one day I told my mom I was going to be an Olympic gold medalist, but some guy named Usain Bolt started running, so um yeah...that didn't happen either.  But in my travels, during a brief stint masquerading as a professional 100 meter sprinter, I developed a love for photography and anything visually creative. I had a little point and shoot canon that I ran around with then, and I did work with that camera! Whenever I was out of the country I had a goal of taking a thousand pictures a day and out of those photos there were some decent point and shoot images in there. So, lets fast forward a couple of years; a good friend of mine asked me to film his wedding and of course I said yes. I didn't know what I was getting into. I have a habit of saying yes and then figuring it out. Anyways, that was my first wedding. I was a rookie, I was new in the game but I was all in. I knew once the camera bug bit me that I would work tirelessly to become the best visual artist I could be. I believe that visuals should tell a story, evoke emotion, and generally just be captivating. We all have a story to tell and it all starts with an idea, we just need somebody to understand the vision. Thanks for "listening" i'm out.
